It all started in our very first small store in 2013. We, Richard and Lizelle Murray, the founders of Double Click, were just starting out ourselves — full of hopes and dreams of our own — when we saw a young couple walk in with such excitement and dreams of their own.
We watched as they literally counted the money they had to see if they had enough to buy their dream lounge set — their very first one. Like all of us, we have been in their shoes at one stage or another. In that powerful moment, an inspiration was born.
A business that provides affordable, good, value-for-money furniture for home starters like those customers. A dream was born — Double Click was built to realise dreams and turn them into reality for those starting out in life, maybe even starting over. Giving them the ability to buy and afford furniture that is not only affordable, but truly good value for money.
From that powerful moment in that small store, a vision was sparked — and we never looked back.
We have never stopped working hard to constantly improve our products, quality, new designs, service and pricing, so we can continue giving our customers the best prices and value for money.
Our aim and mission remain the same, even after all these years.
Today, we stand strong and proud, serving home starters, those starting over, and all those working within a budget. Our returning and happy customers speak volumes about our commitment and the service we offer.
Beyond selling furniture, we employ over 150 employees across 8 stores in Gauteng, as well as stores in Secunda and Vanderbijlpark. We are creating jobs, supporting families and contributing to our communities.
